Tanya is an experienced family law solicitor based in our Gosford office.

Tanya commenced practice as a lawyer in Sydney where she worked in Administrative Law, acting in judicial review migration proceedings before the then Federal Circuit Court and also appearing in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal in matters concerning social security, family assistance and child support.

Since Tanya began working on the Central Coast, she has practiced exclusively in family law and has experience working in a wide range of matters including complex parenting and property matters. Tanya was drawn to family law because of a desire to help people achieve outcomes that help them find closure following what is often the most difficult time in their lives.

Tanya holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice and has completed her Masters of Applied Law (Family Law).

Amelia Brayley
Senior Associate | Family Law

Based in our Newcastle office, Amelia is a family law solicitor with over nine years’ experience across the full spectrum of family law matters.

Amelia is completed her National Mediation Accreditation in March 2024 and completed her Masters in Applied Law, with a major in Family Dispute Resolution Practice in June 2024. Amelia is in the process of becoming a registered family dispute resolution practitioner (FDRP) in addition to her practice as a family lawyer and is looking forward to servicing the community through dispute resolution practices.

Amelia assists her clients in every aspect of separation including divorce, child/spousal support, allegations of family violence, relocation, separation of financial affairs, and consent orders.

Amelia provides her clients with clear and practical advice and prides herself on regularly being able to negotiate outcomes through alternative dispute resolution. This allows clients to avoid the stress of commencing Court proceedings and reduces their legal costs. Despite this, in some cases it may be necessary to commence Court proceedings and, in these circumstances, Amelia is a strong advocate for her client’s best interests.

Ayanah Hood

Ayanah is a valued member of the Family Law team, based in our Gosford Office.

Ayanah graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Media and received a Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law. Ayanah was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court in November 2022.

Before joining Conditsis, Ayanah has previously worked as a Law Clerk in boutique and mid-tier law firms on the Central Coast and has gained valuable experience in legal research, personal injury claims, abuse-law claims, Probate and Estate matters, and family provision claims.

Ayanah has now found her legal fit working in Family law and strives to bring an empathetic approach to all matters to relieve anxiety and stress for her clients that can be felt during the family law process.

Joshua Kershaw

Joshua was admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court in February 2024 after graduating from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Diploma of Legal Practice and Bachelor of Business.

Prior to joining the Family Law Team in Newcastle, Joshua previously worked as a Law Clerk and Paralegal in a wide variety of practice areas, including legal research, Property Law, Wills & Estates, Personal Injury Law and Family Law.

Kimberly Napier
Solicitor | Wills & Estates

Kimberly Napier is located in our Gosford office and currently works in our wills and estates team specialising in estate planning and estate administration.

She handles matters with compassion, empathy and with a detail-orientated approach.

Since commencing as a legal practitioner in Sydney in 2021, Kimberly has worked exclusively in the area of wills and estates law. She has worked on complex letters of administration applications, informal will applications, copy of a will applications (where the original will cannot be located) and foreign will and domicile issues.

Kimberly has worked previously in the financial management team at NSW Trustee and Guardian where she assisted in matters concerning elder abuse, family provision claims and other legal claims relating to an executor’s duty to administer the estate. During her role at NSW Trustee and Guardian, Kimberly developed a strong understanding of the misuse of the roles of financial managers and attorneys and the potential claims available to aggrieved family members.
